Charged

If you need help right now

Charged is not a crisis service and nobody here is monitoring it. If you or someone you love is in danger, please contact one of these directly.

988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US), call or text, 24/7
Text HOME to 741741 — Crisis Text Line
1-800-799-7233 — National Domestic Violence Hotline
911 — emergency services

These are also inside the app, on every screen, on the free version, and on a cancelled account.

Getting in touch

help@charged.love — we aim to reply within two business days. Telling us your account email and roughly when the problem happened makes it much faster to work out what went wrong.

Common questions

My sign-in code never arrived.
Check spam first. Codes expire after about an hour — request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email. If nothing arrives at all, email us and we will look at whether the message was rejected.
Does my partner see what I write in a check-in?
No. Check-in notes are never shared with a partner in any sharing mode. They see your level, and the channels behind it only if you have chosen to share those.
How do I change what my partner can see?
Sharing, on the home screen. Full, battery only, or private. It takes effect immediately and is enforced by the database rather than by the app.
How do I delete my account?
Account → Delete account, in the app. It removes everything from our servers and clears the copy on your device, immediately, without needing to contact us.
Do we both have to pay?
No. One subscription covers both people. Whoever subscribes, the other gets the full version at no charge and never sees a payment screen.
What does the free version include?
The survey, pairing, your partner's level, check-ins on a rating scale, suggestions from the research, and every safety feature. The paid version adds what the app works out rather than what you type: estimates, learned effects, history, and the AI catch-up.
I lost my discreet notes when I changed phones.
That is by design, and we are sorry it stings. The wording of a discreet preference is never uploaded, so there is no copy for us to restore. It is the price of that text never being on a server.
Is Charged therapy?
No. It is built on published research about needs and relationships, but it is not treatment, not a medical device, and not a substitute for a professional. If something is seriously wrong, please talk to someone qualified.
